When I began the M.A. program in Library & Information Science, I realized that many people did not understand the breadth of librarianship. Many had misapprehensions around library research and practice.

I also received genuinely blank expressions when I explained developing databases, designing curriculum, and using chemistry to reduce paper degradation in my courses. Ultimately, library science and information science can be seen as a method, with a variety of places of application. On this page, I include some LIS projects from my degree to broaden awareness of what librarians can do.
